Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Pennsylvania Highlands Community College has established a Right-to-Know Office. The College has appointed Trish Corle, Vice President of Student Services, as the College’s Right-to-Know Officer. Requests for information pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law should be forwarded to the College’s Right-to-Know Officer.

A written request for access to a public record must be submitted. The College suggests the requester utilize the Right-to-Know Request Form by clicking here. This form can be delivered to the Right-to-Know Officer in the following ways:

Filing an Appeal
When a request is denied or deemed denied, a requester may file an appeal to the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records. The appeal must be filed within 15 business days of the denial or deemed denial date. The appeal must also include the request, agency denial if one exists, and address agency grounds that the request was denied. An appeals officer will determine if the record(s) is subject to public access.
