Black Bear Typography
Header and Circle Bear Logo Typeface. The Monserrat Black font is designated for all headers and call-outs, serving as the primary font for Athletics when conveying strength and emphasis. It is also the main font to be paired with the Circle Bear Logo. The name “Black Bears” can be positioned directly below (centered) or to the right of the Circle Bear Logo. Additionally, the name of each sport may be included with the Circle Bear Logo. The Impact font type is considered a legacy font that may be used in place of Montserrat when spacing becomes a factor.
Secondary Header Typeface. Monserrat Bold is the secondary header font, conveying nearly as much importance as the primary header font. It effectively bridges the gap between detailed information and callouts.
Body Typeface. The Montserrat or Open Sans Font Family is to be used for all general bulk content regarding Athletics. It is to be used for lengthier writing and for going into detail and specifics.
