“Wings” performed by Jeffrey DeLisaThe Penn Highlands Police Academy is approved by the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) to provide training for individuals wishing to become certified police officers in Pennsylvania. The program lasted almost a year with intensive training including, but not limited to, academics, physical fitness training, defensive and control tactics, firearms, and the operation of emergency vehicles.

Cambria County College Fair
September17September 17, 2024, 8:30 am - 11:30 amThe 22nd Annual Cambria County College Fair, sponsored by Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, will be held on Tuesday, September 17th, inside the main gym at the Pennsylvania Highlands Richland Campus. This year’s College Fair will take place from 8:30am to 11:30am, with students attending from across the region.
The mission of the College Fair is to promote higher education and future opportunities to not only high school students and their families, but to the public as well. The Cambria County College Fair helps local community members find and discover the many educational and career opportunities that are right in their backyard.
Colleges and universities from all over the state of Pennsylvania will be on-hand to meet with and assist guests regarding their educational and career needs. With so many institutions attending, there is something for everyone: technical schools, business colleges, cosmetology schools and universities, branches of the military, banks, local businesses, and more.

College Senate
September19September 19, 2024, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pmThe College Senate will serve as an advisory group to the President on matters of mutual interest to the Student Senate, the Faculty Senate, the Administrative Senate, and the Staff Senate. As such, it provides a structure to ensure that representatives of the various governance bodies of the College have a venue and a voice in the decision making processes of the College and that these representatives have an opportunity to hear the various opinions of their colleagues.
The College Senate meeting will take place via Zoom. Links will be available at a later date.
