The Cambria County Smart Start Promise Program (Smart Start) is a pilot program to help recent Cambria County high school graduates begin college with confidence. The College will provide a last-dollar scholarship that pays for your tuition and comprehensive fees for up to 30 college credits during your first year. This includes your fall, spring, and the following summer sessions, directly following your high school graduation.
Our goal is to remove financial barriers, allowing Cambria County residents to focus on earning their degree or certificate. 2026 Cambria County High School Graduates can now apply.

This ceremony honors the members of Cadet Class No. 92, who are celebrating the completion of their training at the Penn Highlands Police Academy’s Fourth Graduation Ceremony. These graduates have shown dedication and commitment to their academic and career goals.
The Penn Highlands Police Academy is approved by the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) to provide training for individuals seeking certification as police officers in Pennsylvania.
