In this introductory class, you will explore the fundamentals of the exquisite art of modern brush calligraphy. No prior experience or fondness for your own handwriting is required. With dedication, anyone can excel in brush lettering. This class will deconstruct the essential principles and basic strokes necessary for proficient use of brush pens, guiding you in seamlessly combining these strokes to craft elegant letters and words.

Intermediate Modern Brush Calligraphy – Flourishes, Words, & Creating Your Own Style
In this intermediate course, we’ll use both large and small brush pens and explore how to add pizzazz to your lettering by using flourishes and bounce to create your lettering style. Bring along your favorite quote, title, or phrase to the letter. Prerequisite: ZAC.078 – Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

Fall Mesh Wreath Making

Santa Hat Wreath Making
HO! HO! HO! This Santa Hat wreath is adorable. Your red fabric hat will already be on the wreath hat form. In class, you will use different shades of white and tan mesh to make your hat brim. Add a bow and a pom pom and you are set! Merry Christmas!
